The-sixth

An avid member of the chamber choir, he loves hearing harmonies and overtones created by voices, which can only be heard in a choir. He believes in the phrase “first impression lasts” and puts his best foot forward to treat everyone in the best way possible. Szecindyo

She stumbled upon choral singing when she was 10 years old, and has been loving it since. Many feel ecstasy through intoxication or caffeine, but a beautifully sung chord is enough to make her high! Choir has always been part of her, and will always be, no matter how much she is teased for having only one CCA her entire life. (: Amelia
Secretary
Fiona
Finance Director
A self-proclaimed shopaholic, Fiona adds fabulousness and sass in whatever situation she is put in.  Although never having been in a choir before, her passion for singing has driven her to put in the best for the choir. Choir has been a magical and “totzamazeballs” experience and one she will never forget.
He was very single-minded when he came to SMU- ploughing through the crowd, he tried to locate the Chamber Choir booth at an obscure corner along the councourse, during VIVACE 2009. Charles was glad that he’s found choir and he was glad that choir FOUND him. Charles

She still needs her weekly dose of manga, though she has graduated from anime. Why, singing in the choir has been a much better remedy to Agatha’s troubled soul (and mind). And the music! Oh, the voices journey together to unravel stories that reach to our hearts – it’s truly magical.
Valerie is a first year Accountancy student in SMU, and she loves to sing. To her, only one thing beats singing, and that’s singing in a CHOIR! The reason is simple: her friends and the beautiful chords never fail to keep her upbeat even on the dreariest of days. Valerie

Shaun
Student Conductor
Shaun is a 2nd year Business Student who has been singing in a choir since Secondary School and has since been involved with many choirs and musicians both locally and abroad. Outside of school, he is an active volunteer in the community arts field, making the arts accessible to those who do not otherwise get a chance.

The 5th SMUCC Exco will be taking over from the 4th Exco with effect from 1st January 2011.

Abigail
Vice President
An avid fan of L4D, paper crafts and manicures, chorale singing was one of her later-discovered passions. Nevertheless, singing with the SMUCC for the last 2 years has made Abigail believe that it’s pretty magical when music and friends meet.

A true chorister at heart, choral singing is the best singing experience she has. Choir not only builds up her character but it is also something that she alone cannot create. The journey of making great music together with friends has been truly a blessing. In her spare time, she likes to do sports, cooking and singing. His greatest weakness to-date is for food.

Ryan
Student Conductor
Ryan is a 3rd year accountancy student who has been deeply involved in the performing arts – an avid pianist since young, a member of several choirs and also recently active in theatre. To him it has always been a pleasure making music with different choirs, and spurring the choir to grow musically, technically and spiritually through constant engagement and motivation of the members. He believes in SMU Chamber Choir constantly seeking higher ground and achieving the biggest intrinsic rewards through music-making.
